Instead of physically visiting the student's home, tutors use a good Internet connection, virtual blackboard, webcam and a microphone to teach. The teacher-student interaction is two-way and in real time. At Eduzyte, ‘live online tutoring’ implies that ‘one tutor teaches one student at a time’. The student thus gets complete and undivided attention in class.
No, Eduzyte does not provide the video of recordings or lectures. But, Eduzyte will share the video of their class to their students immediate of every class.
Live online tutoring at Eduzyte implies that one tutor teaches one or more students at a time.
There are three types of Eduzyte programs that is one to one, one to many and one to group.
To find your best-fit tutor, we recommend that you attend the trial class process. Eduzyte arranges classes with tutors shortlisted based on your preferences and you select the one whom you find best-fit!
Demo class is the first class of a student with a tutor during which the student can evaluate the suitability and compatibility of the tutor as per his/her requirements. It also helps the tutor to ascertain if she wants to accept the concerned student.
Tutors are shortlisted based on various factors such as hourly rate, profile, tutor’s Internet speed etc. indicated by students through the Tutoring Preferences Form
Trial classes are scheduled as per the trial class slots provided by a student at the time of applying for a demo class.
During the trial class, the tutor will teach the topic that student had selected while filling the Tutor Preferences Form. In addition to the academics or studies, please feel free to discuss with the tutor about her teaching philosophy / style, credentials, experience etc.
If a trial class is rescheduled or cancelled, more than 12 hours in advance before the trial class, then no penalty is applicable - If a trial class is rescheduled or cancelled, less than 12 hours but more than 6 hours before the trial class, student will be charged 75% of her hourly rate as penalty. - If a trial class is rescheduled or cancelled, less than 3 hours before the trial class or there is No-Show by student for the trial class, student will be charged 100% of her hourly rate as penalty. In this case, Eduzyte also has the right to deactivate student’s profile from Eduzyte or not allocate any more trial classes to tutor for certain time. Similar policy applies to the tutors also.
Policies for late coming for trial class or regular class are as follows: - Student must join the class on or before the scheduled start time for class. - If the student joins the class after 5 minutes but before 15 minutes of the scheduled class start time, then it will be marked as ‘Late Entry’ in the class. - If Student joins the class after 15 minutes of the scheduled class start time, then it is marked as ‘No-show’ by the student. Class is deemed to be rescheduled/ cancelled. No-show penalties will apply. Penalties for late coming are as follows: - If a student is late for more than 3 classes, but upto 6 classes in a month, then the penalty is INR 500. If a student is late for more than 6 classes in a month, then the penalty is INR 1,000 Number of late coming instances by a student will be shown on the student’s dashboard. The similar late coming policy applies to the tutors also.
At Eduzyte, we are always adding new exams/ subjects to our offerings. Please send us details about your exam/ subject and we will revert if a trial class for you can be arranged with a Eduzyte tutor.

A tutoring program is a series of classes taken on Eduzyte towards a specific academic objective. On Eduzyte, almost all aspects of the program are as per your preferences - choice of tutors, timing and schedule of classes, syllabus coverage, and to a certain extent your fees. Your fees are determined by the hourly rate of the tutor you chose.
Eduzyte offers the following types of tutoring programs: - 1. One to one: It is a premium model. Here one teacher can teach one student only at a time. 2. One to Many: One teacher can teach multiple students from multiple locations. 3.One to Group: One teacher can teach one or more groups/classroom. It is mostly required for schools and colleges.
Students can select a program as per her requirements and take a demo class with tutors for the program selected. Alternatively, if a student is unable to on a program to should select, the student can first take trial classes with tutors and discuss with tutors before deciding the best-fit program.
Yes, you can purchase any number of programs at Eduzyte as per your requirements.
At the start of the program, based upon the time availability provided by the student while filling Student Registration Form, tutor decides a weekly class schedule for the program. The weekly schedule such selected is followed every week for the duration of the program. Weekly class schedule for the program can be viewed anytime through student’s dashboard.
The Eduzyte dashboard allows students to communicate with tutor strictly for academic purposes including scheduling classes, providing feedback on classes, sharing assignments. You can send your tutors messages and receive messages from your tutors using your Eduzyte dashboard.
The Eduzyte dashboard has message communication facilities required to communicate with your tutor for conducting online tutoring. In case you desire any other feature or communication tool, please write to help@eduzyte.com. You should not contact tutor through any other method such as personal email, phone, skype etc. Eduzyte has the right to cancel your registration on Eduzyte in case of a breach of this policy.
Yes, you can. Just send us a request through your dashboard. The new tutor can start teaching from the point where old tutor left off or cover those topics again as per your requirement. In case a tutor replacement occurs, the rate as per the new tutor will be applied and the fee for the program will be adjusted accordingly.
In such cases, you should wait for your tutor to enter the class till 10 minutes from the scheduled time. If your tutor didn't join the class within 10 minutes, then the session will be declared as “absent by the tutor” and the hours will be calculated. The loss of the time will be replaced the next day of your final session. And the extra hour amount will be deducted from the tutor’s account
In such an unfortunate circumstance, you can leave the class and retry after a few minutes. If problem the still persists, you can end the class before the scheduled time. You should write to us info@eduzyte.com
Sessions will be recorded and the video link will be shared with the student and the link will be expired in two days.
No, students are not allowed to exchange any personal contact details with tutors. In the event a student request or reveals any such information, Eduzyte reserves the right to terminate the student’s Eduzyte account and cancel all his/her classes at Eduzyte. The Eduzyte dashboard has message communication facility required to communicate with tutors for conducting online tutoring. In case you desire any other feature or communication tool, please write to help@eduzyte.com.
To start a class, login to your Eduzyte dashboard and go to ‘My Classes’ and then click on ‘Regular Classes’, ‘Meeting Link’ corresponding to the scheduled class to be started. If it is a demo class go to ‘My Classes’ and then click on ‘Demo Classes’, ‘Meeting Link’
Fees for a tutoring program will depend upon the hourly rate of the tutor selected by you. For example - if the hourly rate of tutor selected by you is INR 600 / hour and the recommended tutoring hours for a program are 50 hours, then the total fee for that program will be INR 30,000. If needs to extend due to syllabus not getting covered or the student needing more time - the fees may increase. Eduzyte tutors decide their own hourly tutoring rate. You can shortlist a tutor for the trial class based upon the hourly rate. Please note any changes in the number of sessions of the program due to the customization by the student can lead to change in the fees of the program.
Student pays fee to Eduzyte. The fee paid by the student is kept in escrow by Eduzyte and is paid to tutor on a periodic basis as the classes are conducted. In case the student discontinues a tutoring program, fees for the unused sessions is refunded. Fees cannot be paid to the tutor directly. In the event of breach of this policy, Eduzyte reserves the right to terminate student’s Eduzyte account and cancel all her classes at Eduzyte.
No, fee is non-negotiable. Only those tutors are invited for demo class whose hourly rate is within the hourly rate range set by the student. Any attempt to negotiate the fees can lead to suspension of student’s registration at Eduzyte.
Fees can be paid by Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking, Paypal and Cheque deposit to Eduzyte’s bank account.
Login to your Eduzyte dashboard and go to to access your class statements on monthly basis and payment corresponding to it.
